General Responsibilities /Tasks:
1.Ensure and maintain injection molding process control and capability for all tools using scientific molding principles.
2.Lead and support implementation of Scientific/Decoupled injection Molding processes.
3.Lead injection/PUR molding improvements to include cycle time efficiencies, cavitation, scrap reduction, and establishment of optimal processing parameters.
4.Assist with trouble shooting, tool sampling, quality issues and training.
5.Monitors process performance in order to identify areas for improvement, coordinating corrective actions as necessary.
6.Project management to include OEE’s and process capability studies.
Recommend mold/equipment design changes and support capital equipment projects.
7.Support process improvement, cost reduction, and processing related corrective action teams.
8.Provide technical support for daily processing activities on production floor.
9.Provide process related inputs for production and engineering quote preparation.
Support Company Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals and initiatives.
10.Participate & support in lean/continuous improvement initiatives.

Our expectations/ Position Requirements:
1.High school diploma or equivalent
2.5 years of experience in engineering related to mold qualifications.
3.Scientific process molding development principles.
4.Executing Design of experiment runs.
5.Knowledge of using cavity pressure sensors.
6.LSR molding along with running cold runner or hot runner molds.
7.Strong knowledge of mold setup process.
8.Strong knowledge of setting up and basic function of injection machine, Sprue pickers, End of Arm Tooling (EOAT), Mold heaters, Cavity Separation Units (CSU), Conveyers etc.
9.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically excel.
10.Well Organized, Accurate and attentive to detail.
11.Excellent communication and public relations abilities.
12.Ability to communicate effectively (written & spoken) as required for job related communication throughout the organization.
13.Ability to troubleshoot and improve injection molding processes and transfer processes from one machine to another machine.
14.Comprehend and understand operating and maintenance instructions.
15.Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure.
