职位描述

A. OBJECTIVES / TASKS:

· Managing and coordinating interior projects in the area of development in accordance with the customer requirements to ensure product development and support which is on schedule, adheres to the budget and the development status, from the planning phase right up to series production as per agreement with the Key Project Manager and the Management while adhering to the defined project targets and the available resources.
B. PRIMARY DUTIES:

· Acquisition / Quotation Phase (if already Project Manager)
· Clarifying the technical requirements and ensuring the compilation of quotations within the BU DST with regards to development costs on the basis of the customer requirements and within the defined general conditions of the customer division (Key Project Manager) in collaboration with the competent departments. Supporting the Sales-Department in negotiations with the customer divisions and Purchasing with regards to the suppliers right up to the final submission of the quotation.
· Project Organisation
Working out a project organisation in accordance with the internal BU directives. Selection of suitable employees in each of the centers as per agreement with their supervisors and approval according to a defined process. Defining tasks, rules and interfaces for the key palyer in the project. Adapting the project structure to the changed requirements in the course of the project’s progress.
· Project planning
Ensuring the elaboration of project plans with regards to the tasks and deadlines.



· Project Budget
Ensuring that the project cost planning for the commissioned project is worked out and agreed on and monitoring adherence in all the departments and taking counter-action in the case of any deviations from the target/actual plan.
· Project Control
Ensuring that the project targets are achieved with regards to keeping to the deadlines, developing costs and quality in accordance with the services agreed on with the Key Project Manager. Encouraging constructive teamwork within the own project organization. Demanding solutions to problems on the basis of the SEP rules to achieve the project targets. Negotiating in conflict situations according to the escalation mechanism and as per agreement with the Key Project Manager and if necessary the Management.

· Change Management
Ensuring clarification of the technical implementation of change requests from the customer in collaboration with the development engineers at the customer’s and the project organization according DPM process14.01.
Ensuring that development related topics are carried out according DPM process14.02.
· Customer Support
· Carrying out regular coordinating talks with the customer as the key contact for all development topics as per agreement with the Key Project Manager. Coordinating handling of mutually taken action. Collecting and/or analysing strategic customer information to develop innovative solutions and passing them on internally.
· Supplier
Supporting the project buyer in defining the requirements for the suppliers and in the supplier decision. Assisting in make-or-buy decisions.
· Reporting
Compiling and/or testing periodic project reports (according to agreed on rules) and presentations before and during the term of the project as well as documentation on the project conclusion for transfer to the management. In the event of deviations from the target/actual condition, ensuring adherence to the defined escalation levels for information to the Management and the Key Project Manager in due time.
· Leadership
Leading and motivating the technically subordinate employees within the project organization according to the agreed on directives "C4P". In the event of performance problems or general problems, possible discussion with the line supervisor or escalation.
