职位描述
A. OBJECTIVES / TASKS:
· Managing and directing the series development of structural groups for equipment – with focus on the passenger compartment – t o ensure on-schedule, cost-effective product and process development in accordance with the development status as specified by the project targets and customer requirements.
Key technical contact to the customer during series development in accordance with the specified project structure.
B. PRIMARY TASKS:
· Acquisition / Offer Phase
Working out product plans, part request and material specifications in accordance with the approved short list.
Compiling acqusition quantity structures based on product modules and customer requirements in cooperation with the acquisition board and line
Carrying out and documenting the technical contract review as well as the development calculation for the EI-31/32 scope of work.
Providing support in quotation presentations and negotiations with the customer.
Compiling inquiry documentation and development Requirement Specifications on the basis of coordinated make-or-buy decisions.
· Project organization
Functional management and control of the project team within series development. Defining tasks, rules and interfaces in the functional area of responsibility part development/CAD, functional assurance and process development.
· Project planning
Participating in working out, updating and monitoring project plans for tasks and deadlines in the area of responsibility. Coordination with each of the departments and project managers for development.
· Project budget
Monitoring and complying with the development costs in accordance with the approved budget. Taking counter-action in the case of deviations from the target/actual situation, as per agreement with the line and the project manager for development.
· Project control
Ensuring the achievement of the agreed on project targets, particularly the deadline, cost and development status targets on product level.
Promoting constructive teamwork within the assigned proejct organization. Calling for results and problem solutions, setting priorities and bringing about sound decisions based on the requirements made in design, process engineering, CA simulations and functional trials.
Making agreements with the FPL-E and if necessary with the relevant divisional manager in conflict situations.
Responsible internally and to the customer for carrying out the overall functional dimensional concept process, incl. looking at tolerances and compiling measurement plans as well as specifying the critical product characteristics and their transfer into the FMEA.
Ensuring continual evaluation of the development status of series development in the form of design reviews, agreed to by FPL-L and the line.
Responsible for approval of the 3D / 2D TOM data internally and to the customer.
Ensuring and carrying out regular meetings in the area of responsibility.
· Change management
Responsible for releasing and evaluating PIs in the area of responsibility. Checking the constructive impact of external and internal change requests in cooperation with the customers, suppliers and internal departments.
· Customer support
Carrying out and documenting regular coordinating talks with the customers, as technical contact for constructive series development topics of the structural group, in coordination with the FPL-E.
Participating in keeping external / internal LOP lists. Directing jointly setting up measures internally and to the customer in the area of responsibility.
· Suppliers Supporting product purchasing in defining the requirements for the suppliers. Responsible for setting up project profiles and development Requirement Manuals components / scope of purchased parts.
· Reporting Supporting the FPL-E in compiling monthly project reports into the project cockpit. Documenting and pursuing the points out of the development status series development – design reviews in accordance with line specifications. In the case of serious target/actual deviations, provide the supervisor and the FPL-E with active information and define the next procedures in the area of responsibility.
· Leadership Leading and motivating the assigned staff in the area of responsibility. Consults each of the line supervisors whenever there are performance problems or general problems.
C. MISCELLANEOUS (e.g. powers of attorney, management authority, right to information):
· The position describes a fixed-term task during project work
· Technical managerial authority over the assigned project team.
· Duty to provide information within the project organization
· Signature policy according to the signature policy of the Dräxlmaier Group.
