RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Retrieve, analyze, organize and summarize RFQ information received and work closely with Cost Development, Global Purchasing and Engineering in the development of AGM’s proposal
? Defines pricing policy and generates quote submission (piece price, tooling, EDD) in accepted customer format
? Compile and lead technical reviews for new business opportunities
? Maintaining and improve margins through engineering change process, productivity studies, updating customer quotation answer form, performing contract review
? Manage commercial engineering change activities by supporting GM programs in development and in production. Interface with Customers, Global Purchasing, Quality & Engineering Departments to manage all daily issues including pricing negotiations, economics recovery, engineering changes, presentations, etc. Support programs in development & current production for GM
? Manage the directed buy process from GM / AGM relationship and coordinate this internally within AGM
? Provides support to the program teams and operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
? Minimum 3-5 years experience in automotive sales or program team roles
? Must be a self-starter
? Ability to work in a multi-cultural, fast paced atmosphere is a must
? Ability to travel overseas if required
? Excellent written and oral communication skills
? Working knowledge of all MS Office applications; advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills preferred
EDUCATION
? Bachelor’s Degree

? Demonstrate strong organization and communication skills
? Ability to multi-task
? Maintain Confidential company information
? Opening & viewing CAD files to develop images for technical reviews (preferred)

? Must have proven abilities in multitasking, calculations and exemplary organization skills
? Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
? Ability to be self directed and have the aptitude to grasp and master new concepts/tasks quickly
? Possess understanding of financial evaluation and product costing techniques
? Possess understanding of plastics, LED’s/lighting,
