a) Primary duties

1. Exercises supervisory control and direction over the company's day-to-day quality activities, providing instructions and information to the management on effected products.
2. Establish and maintain quality procedures and equipment that ensures that the quality level for all products can be held or improved.
3. Assist management in the implementation and review of the quality operations systems.
4. Perform all duties according to the Quality System Manual.
5. Provides accurate and timely information to the Management in regards to the company's overall quality issues.
6. Customer and supplier handling regarding quality issues
7. Controls and maintains the Quality Operation System.
8. Leads internal auditing.
9. Executes Quality System document control
10. Approves suppliers with the cross-functional project team
11. Promotes the development of in-process inspection plans in order to achieve the philosophy of self-control at the working place.
12. Fulfills the position as Quality Management Representative
13. Identifies and reports to the management team any personnel or equipment resource requirements that are necessary to run the quality system.
14. Ensures dispensation, rework or rejects in cases of specification deviations.
15. Leads the process of 8D-reporting.
16. Ensures information flow of all internal or external nonconformance issues to all effected departments and the Management.
17. Introduces corrective actions together with the responsible departments effected by any nonconformance.
18. Oversees APQP, SPC, PPAP and FMEA
19. Maintains an updated system for the actual rating and rating history by customers
20. Maintains an updated system for the Swoboda-rating of suppliers in relationship with Purchasing/Logistics.
21. Establishes and maintains a system to measure the cost-of-quality and distributes this information to the Management.

b) Personnel duties

1. Work effectively with co-workers and Management
2. Co-operative work with all employees
3. Assist in the training and development of new employees in the quality department
4. Work in conjunction with the management team to identify training needs for quality assurance or the quality system.
5. Leads training of all production employees in respect to gauging, inspection plans
6. Leads and develops all supervised employees
7. Execution of necessary disciplinary personnel actions
8. Created job profiles
9. Lead discussions annual with employees

c) General duties

1. Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
2. Follow company safety rules
3. Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that is required to be used or worn, in designated areas (safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, radiometer)
4. Ensures that all employees adhere to the Occupational Health Safety Act and regulations or company policy.
5. Maintain a clean and safe work area.


d) Other duties

The employee will do any work required by the supervisor within his/her range of activities or because of his/her special knowledge.




Minimum 5 years in in Quality department in an FOE
Min 3 years Quality Manager in a FOE

Chinese fluent
English business writing a. speaking min CET6
German optional
