a) Primary duties

1. Exercises supervisory control and direction over the departments outlined in the Organizational Chart
2. Involvement in formulation of company objectives and priorities
3. Plans and coordinates the availability of resources (manpower and machinery) according to the requirements outlined by the Logistics department.
4. Ensures a sound operation of all production activities through usage of continuous improvement.
5. Overall responsibility for an adequate trained staff in the supervised departments and provide the needed resources for required training.
6. Implementation and improvement of adequate preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
7. Ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions and that the requirements of the Quality Assurance department are followed and achieved.
8. Accepts the Quality Assurance Manager's authority regarding the quality of all products.
9. Stays informed on competitors activities (bench marking) and ensures/ maintains the highest level of manufacturing at Swoboda Inc.
10. Maintains a good customer relation.
11. Oversees safety throughout the company and ensures that all restrictions are ensured in an economical manner.
12. Complies with all applicable company policies and procedures.
13. Identifies and reports to the management team any personnel or equipment resource requirements that are necessary to run our operation system.
14. Provides accurate and timely information to the President in regards to the company's overall operation.

b) Personnel duties

1. Work effectively with co-workers and Management
2. Work cooperatively with all employees
3. Assist in the training and development of new employees
4. Work in conjunction with the President to identify training needs
5. Leads and develops all supervised employees
6. Execution of necessary disciplinary personnel actions

c) General duties

1. Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
2. Follow company safety rules
3. Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that is required to be used or worn, in designated areas (safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, radiometer)
4. Ensures that all employees adhere to the Occupational Health Safety Act and regulations or company policy.
5. Maintain a clean and safe work area.

d) Other duties

The employee will do any work required by the supervisor within his/her range of activities or because of his/her special knowledge.



Extraordinary powers which are not fixed within common regulations:

The job holder has to take over additional tasks within his range of duty or due tohis/her abilities/skills whenever requested by his supervisor.

Experience
Minimum 10 years in comparable position in aFOE.
5 years management function in a FOE.
Min 3 years in average in each company
