职位描述
JOB PURPOSE:
Lead and oversee all aspects of EMS operations within the organization.
Has full operational control over all the procedures to ensure the organization's performance meets agreed upon financial and operational targets. Fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position in a manner that is consistent with the Company Core Value Statement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
I. Technical Responsibilities
1. Responsible for developing, overseeing, and executing the company's operations development strategy to meet agreed organizational goals & objectives.
2. Develop EMS operational / manufacturing objectives consistent with existing orders, projected forecasts and subsequent inventory requirements.
3. Drive Sales and Marketing strategies that maximize sales revenue and gross profit.
4. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers, optimize working process and collocate relevant resources
5. Set, maintain and manage high standard of operational effectiveness to ensure production schedules, volumes, cost and quality.
6. Establish and maintain cost identification and drive cost reduction activities to remain competitiveness in the EMS industry.
7. Responsible for developing an organizational structure, as well as recruiting and managing staff to ensure excellence in performance.
8. Initiate programs for quality, process improvement cost productivity and overall efficiency.
9. Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods, process flow, CAPEX equipment and facility layout. Apply discipline to ensure maximum operational efficiency and productivity.
10. Review reports on overall operational activities, performance and results. Initiate corrective actions related to quality, schedule delays, excessive costs, material shortages and other deterrent factors.
II. Managerial Responsibilities
Identify, recruit and retain high performing employees.
Determine proper staffing and skill levels for the manufacturing operations.
Establish Leadership Culture necessary to create harmonious and effective project teams
Perform regular performance reviews as part of the Company's meritocracy system
Manage each direct report's personal and professional training and growth plan
Assess and allocate financial, physical, and human resources to projects
Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
Prepare annual and supplemental functional budgets (Op Plan) and report variances monthly
Assume responsibility for effective communication across the functional teams
Establish and maintain administrative policies and procedures for the EMS Operations.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: BS in Engineering or advanced science degree or MBA
Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in Manufacturing and/or Operations (P&L) Management
Skills & Abilities:
Extensive knowledge in electronic manufacturing services (EMS) management.
Strong technical background and familiarity of transitioning designs to manufacturable products.
Comprehensive knowledge of fundamental management principles and practices utilized in an EMS operations.
Comprehensive knowledge of the equipment, materials, processes, and practices utilized in an EMS operations.
Comprehensive knowledge of inventory procurement and management processes and procedures.
Familiar with MRP / ERP systems for material and production planning.
Intermediate knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical production processes.
Intermediate knowledge of Logistics & Distribution (Warehouse, Freight Forwarding & Transportation).
Familiarity with or exposure to ISO Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma and Lean.
Strong team building skills necessary to manage and lead a multi-disciplined organization.
Strong interpersonal /communication skills, proactive and excellent leadership skills.
Good English communications (verbal / written / listening comprehension).
Proven ability to prepare and present data, reports, informational briefings.
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
