Job Summary:
Maintain control and ensure regulations adherence to all import and export processes according to corporate and local policies. Coordinate national freight logistics of products delivered from Kunshan.


Responsibilities Include:
Impor / Export
1. Evaluate all items for import and ensure accuracy in all values and collaborate with brokers to provide clearance of all imports and maintain required documents.
2. Monitor and provide response to all custom inquiries and requests and obtain required product certifications for all export and import products for custom clearance.

Freight Coordination
1. Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries with approved freight forwarders.
2. Provide shipping weights and dimensions to freight forwarders.
3. Ensure all customer orders are appropriately packaged and shipped promptly, accurately and with all necessary documentation.
4. Coordinate freight quotations in response to customer requests.
5. Perform all record keeping processes and maintain records of all entry.


Position Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
1. Minimum of 3 years in a comparable role.
2. Experience with customs processes and customer clearance certificates.
3. Clear understanding in tariffs, exempt policy for goods and customs requirements.
4. Workable level in English (Written and verbal).
5. Experience with ERP systems.

Skills:
1. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
2. Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest and thorough.
3. Strong planning, organizational, analytical and communication skills are required.
4. Team attitude, eager to cooperate with others with good interpersonal skills.
5. Competent with computer software such as Microsoft Office and Dynamics ERP.
