My company, an Automotive Parts Manufacturer, has set up a manufacturing plant in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. For this plant, an qualified Program (Project) Manager with Canadian experience is required.
The position is responsible for all aspects of program quoting, development, coordination, tooling and purchasing parts, PPAP, PSO, and so on. Coordination and consultation with automakers, Technical Center in Canada, as well as internal departments are essential.
The candidate would have to be fluent in Mandarin and English both speaking and writing, must understand APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan and measurement technologies. Also, project management knowledge and experience are essential. Personal skills are important to become successful.
The candidate will report directly to the General Manager of the plant, who is also transferring from Toronto. The candidate would also have a functional responsibility to coordinate with headquarter for quoting and technical issues.
The successful candidate would spend an initial period time in Toronto to understand the company system, then move to China. The salary is very competitive.
