SUMMARY
Support the activities of the Product Engineering department by providing mechanical design engineering in both product design and project execution. Support teams by assisting in research, design reviews, and defining project parameters.
Support the activities of supplier chain team by providing manufacturing processes difference for giving best direction of cost. Focus on and monitor continuous improvement for process at suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work with Product Manager, Engineering Manager, Project Manager, ID Engineer, graphic engineer and peer engineers in headquarter to generate complete design package which includes 3D, 2D, design checklist, DFMEA, strength analysis.
2. Create test plans for validation and pilot run frame, fork and assembly parts, monitor these plans in Enovia and get them closed finally.
3. Discuss design package with manufacturing engineer, quality engineer and suppliers for getting feedback and concerns.
4. Modify and verify drawing specification packages in EPDM to ensure products meet parameters.
5. Product cost analysis, work with Supplier chain and Manufacturing engineer to get quotation frozen on time.
6. Support Manufacturing engineer and Quality engineer to execute PFMEA at suppliers base on DFMEA.
7. Actively execute test failure analysis with Manufacturing engineer, Quality engineer and suppliers.
8. Actively work with part engineer and supplier to fix interference issue with Manufacturing engineer, Quality engineer, compliance engineer and suppliers.
9. Assist Manufacturing engineer and Quality engineer to lead the pilot run at suppliers.
10. Tracking and update tasks in @task system.
11. Managing the works in multi-projects to meet the completion date in @task.
12. Frequently attending into conference meeting with teammate in headquarter and branch offices in Shenzhen China and Europe.
13. Travel as necessary both domestically and internationally
14. Effectively balance multiple projects, responsibilities, and tasks simultaneously

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
2. More than 3 years Design or Manufacturing experience in Engineering or relevant field.
3. Excellent English skill in both writing and speaking is strongly preferred.
4. Proficient 3D software skills Solidworks is strongly preferred, Pro/E, UG is acceptable with strong proficiency.
5. Composite experience needed.
6. Good capability in communication and interpersonal
7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
8. Skills in office software
9. Competent with time management, deadlines, multiple projects and the ability to handle frequent interruptions.
