-ability to hold technical discussions at all levels -3D CAD experience preferably Pro-E -knowledge of materials and processes used in the manufacture of electromechanical devices, and preferably hydraulics and pneumatics -needs a firm understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing -good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills -organisational skills, such as time and resource planning -problem-solving and analytical capabilities -accuracy and attention to detail -the ability to write clearly and effectively -a high level of confidence -good understanding of quality management system requirements like TS16949 as well as ISO9001:2000 -good command of MS OFFICE and general PC skills -English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills (CET VI preferred) -work experience as engineer in the design of electro-mechanical systems (preferably including design of magnetic circuits) of automobile components and/or electromechanical components will be helpful -knowledge in the following areas is a plus, not a necessity: injection molding, stamping and plating, electronics modules

-responsible for designing and specifying of electro-mechanical devices such as solenoids, valve components, sensors etc, for hydraulic and pneumatic valves and ancillary control equipment -interpret customer requirements and specifications -compile and generate drawings ensuring they comply to relevant standards -calculations to size products and ensure they meet product functional requirements -use of project planning software in planning/tracking development projects -needs to be able to integrate the needs of end users, product service, and manufacturing to provide optimum designs that exceed competitive products -evaluate, approve, and implement engineering change orders -write test procedures, test plans and prepare tests and operate and complete test equipment -perform technical feasibility analysis and presents results -manage drawings and drawing updates -create working models of new product concepts -perform design FMEA -lead projects - manage cost and time constraints of projects -select, manage and work with sub-contractors -work closely with other specialists in our plant in Kunshan as well as specialists of the ETO Group -assume responsibility for product cost calculations -position requires some amount of international travel
