Job Summary

The role of a Laser Fixture Engineer is to provide on line support of laser operations, project, laser equipment, and troubleshoot to identify root causes, and daily laser process improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

l Laser equipment setup/programming/maintenance;

2 Concept laser & assembly fixtures;

3 Design buy off of laser fixtures & weld assembly fixtures;

4 Optimize laser fixture life time;

5 Familiar with Laser Fixture design and setup;

6 Manage all stages of development including design, prototype, engineering, qualification and production;

7 Trouble shooting; Documentation of open issues and modification record sheets, work with team to follow up and resolve issues;

8 Compile related laser process documents and maintenance documents;

9 Work with manufacturing team on process and fixture upgrades for existing product lines;

10 Manage spare parts for laser fixture and welding fixture;

11 Other job assigned by Manager

Qualifications and Requirements

l Bachelor degree or above major in Mechanical/CNC related;

2 Basic experience in Auto manufacturing assembly environment;

3 Experience of using related CAD and Forming simulation software, like UG, CATIA, etc;

4 Good understanding of GD&T;

5 With good communication and coordinating skill;

6 Manufacturing and assembling more than 5 years in auto industry;

7 Verbal and oral English skills required.
