REQUIREMENT
1. mechanical engineering education at university/engineering school
2. 5 years experience in design/manufacturing engineering in the field of engine cooling
3. Applicant must have proven skills in CATIA V5, Smarteam , preferable also in CAE simulations.
4. Fluent English skills in writing and speaking

Main Responsibilities
? Be specialist in products and technology e.g. performance, design, material, durability, environment, manufacturability, vehicle knowledge etc. Product Engineer will also have basic knowledge in quality levels, economics and planning.
? Perform the design/development/validation of products and systems to respect custom-er specifications, supplier demands and TitanX internal requirements. Ensure the execu-tion of phase (0-4b, 0-3b) related activities and corresponding project documentation to be updated and filed accordingly throughout the lifetime of the project. Product Engi-neer is the equivalent to R&D PTM in the Project Management Handbook, with full re-sponsibility for all technical aspects related to the product.
? Create necessary technical documentation for each component and/or module in the projects e.g. CAD drawings, CATIA, Part list, specifications etc.
? Take part to meeting with customers when necessary (based on internal TitanX organi-zation).
? Lead technical meeting with suppliers, to be the supplier technical interface (based on internal TitanX organization).
? Follow existing standards, specifications and recommendations in the design work.
? Develop and design products in agreement with TiPS requirements (Design For Assem-bly).
? Initiate/require and in some cases perform calculations/simulations (thermal performance, FEA, FEM, CFD...) DFMEA, value analysis, DFA/DFM, product appraisals, tests re-quests/planning, prototyping, test reports (to be approved by manager before distribu-tion), design modifications and other technical documents part of project work.
? Evaluate and approve prototypes/Mock-up before delivery.
? Take part to the evaluation and approval of the PPAP for in-going parts, components and/or modules.
? Participate actively in reaching the objectives for the R&D departments.
? Participate in continuously improving the project and department procedures.
