POSITION: Production Manager

IDENTIFICATION OF THE POSITION

Unit:OrkliKunshan Department:Manufacturing

MISSION FOR THE POSITION

Together with the Operation Director, they define the strategy, policies and business objectives of their department and they are involved in defining the management plan as part of the Industrial Committee.To manage and coordinate the different areas of manufacturing and processes to ensure production objectives Implementing the projects from the area of industrialisation, under the supervision and direction of Global Group’s Head of Processes and based on the objectives of the industrial area.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
1. Manufacturing flows:Planning, organising and managing the coordination of manufacturing flows and the manufacturing of products, achive the business objectives with satisfying all the manufacturing KPI.
2. Maintenance:Together with the Head of Maintenance, planning, organising and carrying out maintenance work on equipment and technical resources, including preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
3. Team management:Supervising, coordinating and motivating their team, ensuring that communication and discussions are held to fully understand the company objectives. Leading the team to achieve the objectives and build up the team capability.
4. Industrial Committee and Management Plan:Participating in the Industrial Committee, taking part in the preparation of the business plan.Preparing the management plan and expenditure budget for their department and monitoring and controlling them and proposing the necessary corrective measures.
5. Continuous improvement:Seeking, examining and adapting new methods and tools applicable to the technical, organisational and human resources in their area of responsibility and instilling in their colleagues this responsibility for continuous improvement. Defining and leading the necessary investments and participating in the definition of new production processes.
6. Committees:Leading and/or actively participating in improvement meetings and/or meetings to resolve problems, and in any Committees deemed necessary.

Other Requirements(*):

Academic background: Bachelor’s degree above
Experience: 8 year+ experience in an industrial field with at least 5+ year production management and team management experience (highly valued)
Languages: English (desirable)
