DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work with the Chairman on corporate development initiatives including negotiations with banks, investment banks and venture capitalists as well as alliances and M&A.
· Assist the Chairman with strategic planning and analysis of major business decisions
· Provide input regarding strategic direction and leadership of the organization, including refining the business model, maximizing revenue from all sources, and minimizing costs
· Work with external auditors, international legal counsel and representatives from potential investors on financial and legal due diligence
· Plan and direct the design, development and implementation of financial models in analyzing M&A targets
· Oversee and manage the financial operations of Asia Pacific Medical Group as well as administration, information technology and facilities.
· Oversee and ensure the integrity of financial reporting including tax and regulatory filings; ensure that accounting practices are in accordance with GAAP as well as PRC financial reporting requirements
· Direct the preparation of all financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, statements of cash flow, reports to shareholders, tax returns and planning, and reports for regulatory compliance
· Manage budget preparation, audit functions, cash management and forecasting
· Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses
· Monitor and report on corporate performance against business plans, including approving budgets for all departments and overseeing operating results on a regular basis to determine effectiveness of management control
· Serve as primary liaison for all internal and external tax and audit activity
· Prepare Board of Directors presentations and to report on Company's finances during investor conference, road shows, board and management meetings.
