Job Purpose:
Manage the company’s planning and inventory functions in line with budgets and strategic plans.

Main Responsibilities:
Safety
·Ensure a productive safety approach is adhered to within working environment.
·Ensure activities within office operations area, are In line with all legislative requirements, particularly as they relate to Safety
Demand Planning/Forecast Management
·Develop and maintain statistical forecast within Demand Solutions.
·Responsible for liaising with Sales & Marketing to ensure forecasts and inventory reflects company plans.
·Ensure product life cycles are maintained so that new products are launched in a timely manor and obsolete products are phased out in accordance with company plans.
·In charge to maintain adequate stock to ensure forecasted demand is met and levels are within budget.
Reporting
·Preparation of comprehensive monthly supply chain management reports, and other ad hoc reports, within established deadlines, to assist in management decision-making
Sarbanes Oxley
·Ensure all activities performed meet Sarbanes Oxley requirements and are in line with the company’s Schedule of Authority
Company Supply Chain Requirements (Supply Planning)
·Involvement in supply chain budget requirements
·Responsibility to manage the region’s purchasing function including:
Liaison with all local and overseas suppliers
·Liaison with Logistics Coordinators to ensure supply will meet requirements
·Placing of orders according to company forecasts and company inventory objectives
·Oversee the inventory located across warehouse facilities to meet demand.
·Planning, advice and recommendations on product ranges with Marketing & Sales to ensure SKU requirements are met and within targets.
·Liaison with warehouse personnel regarding space and new product requirements and make recommendations, as appropriate
·Liaison with suppliers to communicate demand changes on a regular basis to ensure appropriate supply is met.
·Produce a rolling forecast for all suppliers based on demand.
·Ensure demand forecast reflect sales expectations and estimates.
·Maintain products and settings within Movex on MRP to support supply chain functions and processes
·Oversee and facilitate purchasing through MRP systems in line with budgets and supplier requirements
Communication Objectives
·Develop rapport and proper lines of communication and liaison with:
·Management
·Customers
·Key Account Managers/Account Managers
·Finance Department
·Operations
·Sales Agents/Distributors
·Suppliers
Operations support to the S&OP Leader as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors/University degree Business, Finance or Marketing required.
- 5 years of demand planning/analytical/systems experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Outlook etc.).
- Strong project management, process and conceptual skills.
- Financial acumen
