JOB DESCRIPTION – Data Analyst / Statistician

  

Client:       L’Oreal Japan R&I center

  

Job Title:  Data Analyst / Statistician

  

Location:  Kawasaki, Japan

  

 

  

Key Job Accountabilities:

  

• Be responsible for data Management/Analysis for research, development and evaluation in R&I Japan

• Conduct data analysis for R&I

• Help to setup the best design for the tests in order to obtain the most accurate results

• Contribute to develop the statistical analysis toolbox

   

   

  Requirements:

• A degree in a numerate discipline such as mathematics, statistics, or similar quantitative content is preferred

• Experience with data analysis and a range of data modelling techniques including descriptive statistics, variances analysis, correlation, regression, segmentation, and modeling etc.al.

• Experience with DoE, screening design, mixture design, fractional factorial design, space filling design, Response surface design, Augment design etc.al.

• Be familiar to one or more of the following programming languages such as R, SQL, VBA, Python or Matlab

• Be familiar to one or more of the following statistical software such as R, SAS, SPSS, JMP or XLSTAT

• Good communication skill and problem solving ability

• Business level English

• Full time working for at least 6 months, in R&I office
