STS – the project management training company – is one of the leading institution in applied project management training. We provide clients with innovative and effective training solutions that are aligned to the client’s needs.

STS SA is specialized in designing company specific trainings in project management and in providing any PM related training with sophisticated and highly performing training tools. STS delivers a variety of standard or customized training courses, offers certification preparation and consults companies in setting up project management practices.

For the development of the Chinese market, we are looking for a Business Developer China – based in Shanghai. The person will be responsible for promoting our training solutions and for acquiring local customers, who is passionate about sales and has strong organizational skills. For this job we are looking for a dynamic, young person who is dedicated to developing new business opportunities and eager to work in an international environment.

Job Responsibility

• designing and implementing – in collaboration with the Headquarter – a business strategy for China;
• actively prospecting clients and establishing a portfolio of clients;
• promoting training solutions in project management according to the needs of companies;
• leading the sales process from writing proposals until finalizing the contract;
• implementing training solutions by planning and organizing the training events – in collaboration with the headquarter, the trainers and the client.

Job Requirements

• is multilingual: Proficiency in Chinese and English (oral and writing) are required; other languages (particularly French or German) are an advantage;
• has good presentation and communication skills particularly with mid or upper management;
• can demonstrate a sense of organization and coordination with various stakeholders;
• possesses good knowledge of project management (a certification would be a plus);
• is capable and motivated to work independently and to liaise with a remote team on a regular and transparent way;
• is able to work on various project on the same time.
• is proficient in using Microsoft Office, CRM and internet based working tools as well as at ease to get used to new tools.
