职位描述：

Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking a Field Service Technician for our Residential Furnishings segment. This position will work closely with our customers to provide technical support for new and existing products, including installation, troubleshooting, quality review, customer complaints, and design changes. The selected candidate will have great communication skills and be customer focused.

Essential Responsibilities

· Coordinate with sales, design, operations and customer service teams to meet customer needs

· Support sales by recommending products, services, and materials to improve customers’ business

· Assemble sample mechanisms, assist customers with installation, provide market support

· Support sales and management teams to develop and improve customer relationships

· Troubleshoot complaints and quality issues, provide insight regarding product improvements, corrections, customer desires, suggestions, requirements and complaints

· Recommend process improvements to customers and L&P branch management

· Monitor customer trends and update management accordingly

· Work with the customer to improve and increase product offerings (delete)

· Frequent driving to different branches and customer locations

Desired Skills/Competencies

· Technical degree or training preferred

· Mechanical aptitude

· Metal working skills

· Familiarity with woodworking tools and knowledge of frame design and upholstery

· Ability to interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and manuals

· CAD experience preferred

· Adaptable to changing project situations, product lines, and customers

· Must be able to read instruments and do close tolerance work

· Ability to measure materials to determine adherence to specifications

· Must be willing to relocate and travel 25-50%

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs
