Job description

The China fabric souring specialist will provide support in sourcing raw fabric material for China production of specific vehicle cover products. The job involves contacting with Chinese raw material suppliers, visiting supplier manufacturing facilities, inspecting fabric samples, negotiating procurement terms and placing purchase orders. The sourcing team works with our representatives in China and report to customers in USA, South America, Europe and Australia.

Specific responsibilities

· Obtain and maintain a good familiarity with the specific products produced in China

· Get to know the procedures of operations in supply chain and supplier management

· Conduct sourcing activities including search and evaluate suppliers, sample quality check, pricing negotiation and purchase order placement, etc.

· Daily monitoring and correction of order errors that prevent process to continue

· Report to clients regarding the sourcing activities on a daily basis

Qualifications required

· Aggressive attitude towards reaching goals and accomplishments

· Bachelor or graduate degree from a Chinese university

· Background knowledge in fabric materials, fabric manufacturing preferred

· Good verbal and written communication skills in English

· Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel

· Ability to work in a fast paced working environment and meeting deadlines

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
