Key Job Accountabilities

? Identify and develop new materials and/or technology to improve cost, product quality, supply chain flexibility
? Provide engineering technical support for supplier assessment and development process to ensure the technical capability of suppliers can be properly assessed and leveraged
? Support the development and release of Packaging materials to ensure new products can be realized effectively
? Provide solutions to improve/optimize designs of Packaging to ensure product packaging can meet the release requirements
? Be responsible for packaging supplier sourcing, contracting and daily management / Contact
? Provide the expertise to enable proper application of the bar code symbols on finished goods packaging
? Lead and/or support teams to evaluate and implement commercial packaging changes, providing communication link between local suppliers, Sweden-based counterparts /peers, together with team staff to make sure new requests are thoroughly reviewed, approved, and properly implemented.

Key Requirements:

? University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material/Packaging Science, or related field, Packaging Engineering Preferred
? Must be experienced in packaging design, testing & industrialization practices, and in the manufacturing processes related to packaging
? 5 + years of experience in packaging engineering in a cross-functional environment
? Good working knowledge of manufacturing packaging processes, materials, and adhesives and printing processing
? Strong trouble-shooting and analytical skills (root cause analysis, DOE, statistical engineering) preferred
? Hands-on mechanical design, packaging structure /design
? Be good at application of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop etc
? Microsoft- Word Excel, Power Point knowledge at least
? Integrity, self-motivated, energized, good communication and cooperation skill
? Excellent oral and written communication skill in English and be able to work in a manufacturing work environment
? Good personality and result oriented readiness
