Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify reliable sources of data. Search industry reports, company’s financial reports and announcements. Analyze and synthesize data
• Track the performance of key value chain players
• Forecast and track market demand
• Work closely with technical and commercial organization to quantify value proposition and develop business case scenarios
• Define strategic issues and its implications to the Advanced Flow Reactors (AFR) Business
• Develop long-term strategic options and make recommendations in support of the program
• Utilize advanced analytic tools, process rigor and appropriate cross functional participation to insure quality, depth and consistency of strategic decisions
• Provide competitive intelligence insights to other New Business Development programs as needed

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economy or business with excellent performance
• MBA from top MBA school majoring in strategy, marketing or operations

Experience and Skills

• 3+ year experience in strategy, marketing, operations or business development
• Industry experience in Business to Business technology markets
• Knowledge and experience in chemical industry is a strong plus
• Demonstrated ability to develop clear business communications in growing global business
• Strong analytical skills and affinity for process rigor
• Strong presentation and communication skills (written and oral) with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

• Ability to multi-task, take initiative and handle urgent requests on short notice.
• Strong computer skills in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint
• Manage work details accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to gather and interpret data to guide business decisions
• Self-starter with initiative to identify needs, recommend solution and procedures, organize work and follow through to completion
• Ability to perform in matrixed organization

Travel Requirements

• Position will involve some international travel to US and Europe
