Objectives
The Taishan EPR NI EP (Nuclear Island Engineering, Procurement) contract between AREVA NP, as the leader of a consortium with CNPDC and CNPEC (the Supplier) and the Purchaser (TNPJVC) is entering its contract closure phase with most of the equipment already delivered and the Project operational activities essentially focusing on technical assistance to commissioning. In this phase, it is more important than ever to see over the defense of AREVA NP contractual interests to ensure the Project will be closed under the best possible conditions.

Therefore the main objectives of the mission, among general contract management activities like
? Ensuring that our client, consortium partner(s) and subcontractors respect their contractual obligations
? Respecting contractual notice conditions, and follow-up requirements
? Passing down our contractual obligations in a coherent manner
? Controlling all contractually sensitive external correspondence (including e-mail)
? Maintaining contemporaneous records of events, costs & schedule impacts

will essentially focus in this phase on:
? Active preparation and participation to project management meetings, in particular risk reviews, and proactive risk management through contractual actions,
? Advice / management regarding prompt issuance, negotiation and settlement of changes and claims.
The Contract Manager will work together with the Project Contract Manager and within the Contract and Commercial Organization of the Project.

Educational Requirements: Master of Law (business law) or equivalent, or engineering degree with extensive contract management practice

Knowledge / Experience: Minimum two years as law practitioner or at least five years of contract management activities

Behavioral Skills / Competencies: Team spirit, communication, and demonstrated negotiation skills, result oriented, fluent English 举报 分享
