Visa Officer

The Role:

The Visa Officer is one of the first EF faces that incoming foreign academic staff will meet. Visa Officers are personable, professional and efficient. The job requires excellent communication skills and an understanding of cross-cultural communication as they are providing information about the visa process to our foreign academic employees, and managing and coordinating the visa process for new, renewing, and departing employees. This role allows you to work with various departments and managers in both English and Chinese.

You Will:

?Manage and coordinate the employment visa process for incoming, renewing, and departing employees.

?Assist with the on-boarding of incoming academic staff.

? Follow-up on visa inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

?Keep up to date with current visa and government regulations and communicate changes to recruitment team and stakeholders.

? Visa document and expense management.

? Develop and maintain good relations with center management and staff.

?Handle visa issues as they arise.

?Other clerical tasks as needed.
