职位描述
Roles and Responsibilities
1. SALES ACTIVITES
? Maximize sales at the lowest possible costs for Packaging Machines Business unit.
? Initiate all direct sales efforts to optimize product line growth at the lowest possible sales costs.
? Maintain good relationships with customers to assure satisfaction and continued sales revenue growth within territory including identifying new projects.
? Ensure that the sales revenue and margin goals are achieved by working to develop final pricing on Packaging Machines business. Advise BU Sales Manager of any anticipated project risks on all orders.
? Based on successful product applications, help find comparable prospects with similar needs to expand PACN’s market share.
? Continually monitor markets, market requirements and modification of existing product line in the development of new equipment to meet changing market needs.
? Submit written sales forecast on a bi-weekly basis, as well as key lost order reports as required.
? Meet or exceed annual sales quotas. Follow company guidelines for expense control and operate within budget.
? Complete special projects and duties as assigned to enhance the market position of the company.
2. PRE-ORDER SALES SUPPORT
? Sales support for assigned agencies or regions, if applicable.
? Solution development, pre-order sales calls, costing, floor plans, and proposal writing.
? Interface with sales, agents, and customers to clarify specifications for order entry.
3. ORDER EXECUTION
? Manage order entry, scheduling, and order progress with team management assistance, as required.
? Acknowledge customer orders and facilitate pre-manufacture design approvals.
? Lead project meetings and coordinate design reviews at PACN and the customer site.
? Travel, as needed, to customer sites.
? Act as design liaison between the customer and PACN.
? Customer liaison: function as the customer’s first point of contact. Coordinate machine checkout, customer visits, installation, customer satisfaction and the management of field issues.
? Product line profitably through managing the execution of orders.
? Coordinate resolution of any outstanding issues affecting the customer’s final payment or warranty claims.
4. MARKETING
? Develop expertise in several markets and champion new market efforts.
? Assist with marketing our capabilities (application notices, field photos/videos, trade shows, sales training, presentations, and sales tools).
? Provide input for line improvements and future product line developments.
? Participate in quote review and opportunity strategy meetings.
? Observe and collect competitive technology and market information.
5. SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITES
? Could have direct supervision of assigned personnel or Agents.
? Coordinate work direction to sales personnel, agents, engineering, marketing and assembly team members. Responsible for establishing, training and supervising the assigned sales territoroy including Sales Agents and Sales Representatives.
Qualification Requirement:
(e.g. Education, Working Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Language, Competence, etc)
? BS in engineering or 5 years or more experience in packaging applications, project management, design and installation.
? Basic principles and techniques of direct sales, marketing and local promotion of capital goods
? Ability to identify and influence PACN customer base
? Capable of developing and maintaining good relationships with customer, prospects and suppliers in allied fields
? General – effective oral and written communication skills. Good negotiation skills. Good understanding of sales, engineering, and business processes. Ability to motivate and challenge team members to achieve desired results. Basic PC skills to track project status.
