Job Description
The contract position for a Marketing/Sales Agent for a North American Corporation will require the successful applicant to establish and develop contact with the Chinese manufacturers and to assist in the development of a brand presence with Chinese consumers through media, trade events and promotional activities. The ultimate goal is to increase sales of our product either directly to Chinese firms or indirectly through suppliers in other countries. This will be accomplished through trade and consumer promotional activities that will be directed by experienced promotional staff and executed by the Agent.

The Agent will be based in Tongxiang or Haining in Zhejiang Province and oversee activities in this area and assist in activities in other markets as required. The agent will work independently and report to the international marketing director and the regional director in Shanghai through telephone, email and fax communication. Throughout the year senior staff from North America will accompany the agent on trade visits to potential clients.Initially this position will be a six-month contract period. Following a successful evaluation an annual contract for the position will be offered.
