Designation: R&D Team Leader
Reporting to: Director & Scientist
Base: Beijing Office
Subordinate: 3

Responsibility:
- Responsible for designing and building the information technology architecture for software applications.
- Assist department head in supervising the daily activities of team members.
- Integrates knowledge of existing application architecture, technical standards, and business problems to create strategies and plans to solve the business problems using technological solutions.
- Articulates verbally and in writing to IT and business personnel the vision, action plans, project status, and other items to establish and maintain alignment.
- Verifies completeness and accuracy of specifications for major projects to be estimated.
- Studies currently used application and environment software and makes recommendations based on findings.
- Designs business scenarios that align the architectural and technical designs with the business objective.
- Demonstrates expertise in the major functions and features of installed and planned DBMSes.
- Defines and executes implementation plans, contingency/recovery plans, testing, problem reporting, and other implementation issues.
- Plays a lead role in evaluating and selecting development methodologies for the product or divisional unit as a whole.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 5 yrs above R&D experience in Internet Video industry;
- Bachelor degree above is preferred;
- Familiar with FLV, HLS, H.264, ABR, etc., developing experience is preferred.;
- Familiar with Drupal platform, PHP, Java script, JSON, XML, etc., developing experience is preferred.;
- Familiar with Video Website Architecture;
- Experience of managing R&D team (3+ at least);
- Excellent English writing & speaking;
- Good communicating skill;
- Period International Travel possibility;
