Responsibilities

- Represent Perficient professionally in both client and team situations
- Demonstrate respect for and responsiveness to our clients and colleagues
- Instill confidence in Perficient's skills and ability to deliver
- Produce client deliverables such as detailed design documentation, test plans, test cases and any other assets described in the SOW
- Gain an understanding of the unique business and technical requirements on each of our engagements to facilitate both communications and the most appropriate solution design
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

- Work with outside data sources and API's
- Detailed design, development and unit / integration testing utilizing the appropriate methodologies, technology and tools
- Practice strong configuration management and version control
- Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality to promote client satisfaction
- Share knowledge with the team through training, documents, etc.
- Flexibility to learn new technologies as required by project
- Flexibility to travel abroad as required by project
- Independently manage assigned tasks
- Coach and mentor junior people

Qualifications

- Sincere passion for mobile devices and emerging technologies with a track record of execution

- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.

- 4+ year of Android application development.

- Familiar with Reactive Functional Programming.

- Knowledge of SQL and database technologies.

- Experience on other mobile technologies, such as iOS/Hybrid is a plus.

- Experience in one or more of other programming languages like C/C++/Ruby/Java/Python/Shell is a plus.
- Understanding the app store ecosystem and mobile application industry dynamics

- Good knowledge of different versions of Android and how to tackle OS version specific issues

- Strong MVC/Object Oriented programming skills, demonstrable through past work examples

- Experience in JSON/XML based application development

- Experience in publishing and certification for Android application.
- English CET Level 6 or equivalent is desired, a valid TOEFL/IELTS/GRE/GMAT score will be a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Abroad working/study experience will be a plus
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (or related field) is desired. Candidates with significant relevant work experience may also be considered
- Must be flexible to new situations and challenges
- Passion for delivery
- 2+ years working experience is required
