JOB DESCRIPTION: QA Director

Being a joint venture of Superior Foods International (www.superiorfoods.com) of California, USA and Foodimpex (www.foodimpex.com) of Sweden, SFI Asia has been sourcing since over 7 years ago for food items and ingredients for major food companies of USA and Europe from China and other Asian countries, including but not limited to frozen vegetable and fruit items, canned and dried ingredients, purees and juice concentrates and ready meals etc. Our dynamic and motivated sourcing and sales team in China has established and maintained a reputable presence among the industry in China and other Asian countries. The sales are growing fast over years to the needs of our principals in both USA and Sweden to many major well-know international clients, and at the same time, SFI Asia has been actively involved in the direct sales to a broad client base in USA, Europe and other nations.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• In Charge of supplier’s approval, cooperate with sales to fulfill purchases from China, ensure the products meet the spec., and improve the suppliers’ food safety program;
• Training the suppliers about GMP, GAP, Social responsibility, and help the suppliers to inspect the facility, help them to improve and pass the 3rd party audit (such as BRC, GMP);
• Deal with product COA;
• Deal with claims;
• Do all kinds of customer questionnaires, and accompany customers to visit the facilities;
• Help research new products.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 4 or more years of University education is a must;
• At least 3 years of food facility QA experience, preferably in the food and/or frozen food business;
• Knowledge in QA, quality&safety management in food industry, have experience in BRC/AIB/NSF ausit is prefer;
• Proficiency in English, speaking and writing, is a must;
• Free for travel;
• Proficiency in MS Office and Internet use.
