Duties and Responsibilities:

?Responsibility includes product life cycle management which encompasses initial product concept through development and ultimately through discontinued availability.
?Ownership of the roadmap.
?Ecosystem Partnership management such as CAS and Application vendors.
?Working with Engineering and also other internal partners that contribute to the life cycle management of a product.
?Performs market research relative to product line, conducts competitive research and analysis.
?Monitors product costs for margin analysis. Engaged in ongoing cost reduction initiatives.
?Marketing Management:
?Have regional marketing responsibilities, supporting key sales activities in designated territories and ultimately P&L responsibility for the defined regions.
?Constructs and maintains pricing models.
?Sets revenue targets based on sound product assumptions.
?Constructs business models, pricing and legal agreements with Finance and Legal departments to service customer needs.
?Determines product development priorities and how best to invest research and development resources.
?Exhibits sound knowledge of customer operations and the needs/benefits of products.
?In conjunction with Communications Department develops product promotional material

Required Skills, Education, & Experience:

?Bachelors of Science in Engineering
?3-5 years previous marketing experience
?3-5 years in telecommunications environment, working knowledge about video CPE industry
?Demonstrated technical abilities & strong understanding of prospective and existing technology.
? Excellent verbal & written communication skills along with effective presentation skills in both English and Chinese
?Team player
