· Lead a dynamic dedicated NPD Engineering Team to successfully launch SDA Kitchen products in line with our global go-to-market strategy.

· Drive projects with changeable targets and tight timelines to successful Mass Production.

· Set Team strategy and priorities – lead design development from initial concept to on-going product support.

· Assist in the research and identification of customer insights and lead the development of new innovative solutions

· Ability to report technical issues in concise Executive Level detail

· Motivated to gain deep understanding of design and technical issues

· Create visual and functional prototypes for research and internal review

· Challenge assumptions and think innovatively to solve complex problems creatively

· Communicate design intent to factories by creating Technical Specifications detailing fit, finishes, color, graphics, etc.

· Maintain quality assurance standards for design and color integrity throughout the product lifecycle

· Understand current trends, materials and innovations within the design of small appliances

· Collaborate with Engineering and Product Marketing leaders to innovate, design and implement simple and elegant design solutions

· Sketch concepts for conceptual brainstorming as well as for presentation
