职位描述：
Job Description
1. Identification of new opportunities using catalysis technology to contribute to IFF business requirements;
2. Development for new catalyst in kinds of reactions from lab to plant scale;
3. Adaption of novel catalyst to replace the traditional catalysts, such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, aluminum chloride, trifluoro borane, etc.
4. Designing, Planning, Executing, and Tracking experiments and Analyzing the results efficiently;
5. Improving existing processes for cost reduction;
6. Coordinate with the other departments to implement new technological approaches;
7. Track plant process performance, assist production department to resolve the process issues efficiently;
8. Draft and update standard operating procedures for production use;
9. Maintain a safe and tidy laboratory and keep lab equipment in good condition;
10. Implementing temporary tasks and other works from Technical Manager.

Required Skills
1. Ph.D. in catalyst, industrial catalyst or organic chemistry with strong background in catalytic reactions. Preferably Post Doc or equivalent experience in catalyst development or organic synthesis area;
2. The ability to develop robust and efficient experimental plans that can provide timely technical solutions to meet commercial opportunities;
3. Strong lab working skills in catalyst development and organic chemistry;
4. Good English communication skill;
5. Be able to manage multiple projects at the same time;
6. Possessing good interpersonal and communication skills;
7. With good organizational and planning skills;
8. Strong Team player.

Extra Requirements & Other:
1. Knowledge or experience in fragrance product and technology is a plus.
2. Experience in project management is a plus.
