Job Description

Provide APAC regional and local risk support as SME of end-to-end operational risk event lifecycle. Including: ongoing technical support, maintaining ECAMS/iRIS data integrity, incident data quality control, and analysis from collected incident data.

Logical and problem solving skill, coordination/ planning, attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to deliver to a high standard.
Strong risk, control and escalation awareness and good knowledge of risk excellence.

Responsibilities
Analysts will need to be very familiar with the APAC Operational Risk Event Policy, as well as global ERM programs on operational risk events management.

APAC Legal Entities & Governance

? Attendance at governance meetings when required.
? Support the APAC Functional Leads in ensuring consistent application of the framework within each risk function and location.
? Also to be the key contact persons / subject matter experts supporting the Principal Risk Managers, for the assigned risk functions.
? This role may require collaboration with/ delegation to other ERM colleagues (incl. those not nominated as the ERM functional support) to execute certain tasks as necessary.
? Seek the support of the APAC Functional Lead if required.


Risk Framework

? Provide ERM APAC assistance to perform risk management oversight and roll out ERMs risk programmes.
? Ongoing monitoring and oversight of regional initiatives and provide centre of excellence capabilities for ERM risk programmes (e.g. MRI, regional risk reporting).
? Provide regional assistance on Audit coordination.

Event Capture and Management System (ECAMS/iRIS) Support

? Ongoing technical and administrative support as the ECAMS/iRIS “super user” by ensuring effective and timely troubleshooting and query resolution from all ECAMS/iRIS users. Additional requirement to proactively monitor errors for timely resolution.
? Maintain ECAMS/iRIS data integrity and become the regional “go-to” person for any reference data changes in ECAMS/iRIS. Ensure integrity in the reference data updated in ECAMS/iRIS.
? Maintain effective governance over user access to ECAMS/iRIS and coordinate periodic user access review for ECAMS/iRIS including follow-ups to ensure timely and complete review.
? Proactive collaboration with Principal Risk Managers on types of incident analysis required.



Escalation

? Establish effective communication channels and partner with all Principal Risk Managers and their teams across APAC ERM.
? Regular communication with relevant Event Owners and their supervisors to ensure timely resolution of incident data issues.
? Escalate in a timely manner for any exceptions/ issues requiring resolution and/or follow up.
? Escalate via Regional APAC Steering Committee for decision making, if significant changes are required for ECAMS/iRIS and/or the APAC Operational Risk Event Policy.

Requirements
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics, Maths, Computing or Statistics.
