Responsibilities
To take the lead in area management of Consumer Banking (CB) branch operation in term of day-to-day operations, administration control, risk mgt, people management and process improvement where applicable in Hangzhou, Shanghai and Suzhou
To be responsible for execution quality in the area to ensure all processes are in line with bank policy, standard and regulations by minimizing the process error/issue/other risk events, and maximizing the staff productivity in term of accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness.
To lead and be responsible for all internal and external regulation, audit inspection of the area regarding ops to co work with all related parties in ensuring the satisfactory result
To provide coaching & training to staff whenever necessary to ensure their understanding and familiarization of the policies & procedures and product knowledge, and work closely with Sales team and HR to conduct briefing to branch on all newly launched products and services
To control over staffs performance by KPI setting, KPI evaluating for staffs in different level including CSM, ACSM, CSO, Teller etc in the area, and able to build up people improvement plan where applicable
To be responsible for budget operating in the area to ensure ops BAU running cost not exceed approved the budget of the area
To participate in and provide valuable comment major projects including security & control, system enhancement and process improvement events etc
To ensure all BAU operations are in good order and met preset objective, and also organize effectively regular health check and self-assessment to branch to ensure the procedure and documentation are of properly adherence to regulatory requirements by taking remedy actions to rectify those identified process insufficiency and control weakness
Requirements
Bachelor degree holder
Over 8 years banking operations working experience, with foreign bank working experience prevails, among of all, 4-5 years on managerial positions or similar roles Familiar with the local regulatory requirements
Familiar with banking products, especially WM products and other financial derivatives
Decisive, analytical & methodical
Good inter-personal and communication skills
Good sense of customer & business needs
