Resident SQM Engineer供应商质量管理工程师
Supplier Quality Management (SQM) is a global organisation, consisting of 3 main groups, Program SQM, Site SQM and Resident SQM, responsible for Supplier Quality and Quality & Capacity Evaluation of all suppliers.
Resident SQM is located in Volvo Cars plants and acts as primary interface within SQM for the plants and CMQ (Current Model Quality) on all variability issues from suppliers.
For all assumed issues Resident SQM acts as task leaders governing the item all the way to implemented PCA (Permanent Corrective Action). The Resident organization work in close cooperation with IMQ, Site SQM and R&D to minimize the impact on the customer.
The Resident SQM Engineer reports to the Resident SQM Manager.
MainTasks&Responsibilities
As a Resident SQM Engineer you are the SQM Interface to Manufacturing and CMQ, coordinating resolution of supplier quality issues and drive solutions of escalated Plant Quality issues and field concerns related to supplier process.
Judge, with high level of ability, supplier solutions and improvements related to containment actions and permanent solutions. Address and track items towards the concerned Site SQM organization where assistance is needed.
Take lead for activities related to escalated supplier incidents in conjunction with Plant and site SQM.
Take lead for supplier improvement activities related to reported field concerns.
Identify, communicate and resolve serious supplier quality deviations and Stop Shipments.
Drive concern resolution of Supplier process related quality concerns according to the 8D and Six sigma DMAIC methodology.
Develop and present management reports and weekly scorecards for Supplier process related concerns.
Requiredqualifications
? Bachelor degree or equivalent technical education
? Minimum 3 years engineering experience preferably within Supplier Quality Engineering or R&D
? Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Personal qualities
? Ability to manage and driveworktasks to solutionsindependently.
? Stronganalyticalskills (preferred 6 Sigma background)
? Team player with goodunderstanding of manufacturingprocess
? Be able to show drive and creativity
? Goodpresentation and interpersonalskills

Taizhou·Geely V Automobile Project is an important program for transformation and upgrading of Geely Automobile in Taizhou. It is also one of the key industrial programs in Zhejiang province. Claiming a land area of 734.4 Km2 (equal to around 1101.6 Mu), and with total construction area of 393.954 Km2, upon completion, it will boast an annual output capacity of 200K vehicles, which will be mostly luxury cars compliant with globally uniform standards of technology and quality from Volvo, to be marketed internationally.

Aiming at tier one manufacturers of automobiles in the world as its benchmark target, this production site will be a modern plant equipped with automation for all processes, and advanced information and IT technologies, and at the same time it will be green and eco-friendly. At the site there will be shops covering the four major processes: Stamping, BiW (body in white), Painting, and TCF (also known as General Assembly elsewhere). The site is going to run at 30JPH, and there will be international logistic parks to meet its need for components and parts.

Its Stamping shop adopts automatic high-speed mechanical press lines of international standards; in BiW shop, at welding lines robots from supplier(s) of world reputation will be seen, driving a 100% automation level; Painting shop boasts advanced paint material which is water-based, plus a world-class automatic painting line from Durr, a German supplier; the production lines in TCF is so designed and configured that it will be able to accommodate mixed production of multiple models, assisted by full scale implementation of information and IT technology based Quality Control measures. The program is to be managed following the so called 5P principle, i.e. the emphasis is laid on People, Process, Product, Promotion, and Partner, so as to achieve a sustainable and accommodating growth of the organization.
