Quality Support Inspector - Cut & Sewn Jersey, Underwear, Swimwear (station in Guangdong)

Position Overview:

These positions are responsible for managing the quality assurance function for apparel & accessories to ensure compliance with the Company's quality standard for all factories producing our products.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the weekly and monthly factory inspection schedule
- Lead to improve quality in the factories and ensure production comply Varner requirement.
- Conduct PP meetings, in-line and final inspection according to Varner requirement
- Provide pre-production meeting/quality inspection report and improvement suggestion to factory within the designated timeline.
- Work closely with production office for quality issues.
- Maintain and update weekly quality overview with relevant information on quality issues by factory.
- Work pro-actively in avoiding and detecting the possible quality problem during production.
- Support technical advice and solution to solve quality issues to supplier and merchandiser.
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned by the superior.

Qualifications & Experiences:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Textiles / Clothing or related discipline;
- Post-secondary with substantial relevant working experience will also be considered;
- Well-experienced in formal wear, functional wear, ladies fashion & lingerie will be preferable;
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing process; good communication and problem solving skills;
- Maintain strong ethical standards;
- Proficient in MS office
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Frequently travels to factories.

Quality support
at least 5+ years quality inspection experiences in men’s, ladies, children underwear, swimwear, cut-n sewn jersey.

Language skills: Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Computer skills: Must be adept in using Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel, able to learn new IT systems swiftly.
