Job Dimensions: | 1. The Head of Warehouse leads 10 person to complete goods receive / issue about 8,000 items per year and manage over 20,000 stock items to support plant maintenance and project engineering activities. 2. Principal Accountabilities: | 1. Manage the mechanical, electrical and instrument warehouse according to proper warehouse procedures and safe practices. 2. Establish procedures and ensure that spare parts and equipment received are properly MESC coded, placed in the appropriate areas/racks, preserved if required and issued according to established procedures, fully utilising SAP MM system. 3. Ensure good housekeeping, security and safety practices are observed at all times. 4. Provides guidance to warehouse supervisors and material assistants on proper warehousing procedures and practices. 5. Ensure materials are properly preserved against corrosion and deterioration. 6. Act as a focal point for all queries on material stock, availability and logistical matters such as shipping status etc ? Ensure that goods movement activities are properly captured in SAP MM system and stock records are consistent with physical stock. ? Record stock out or near stock out items and immediately advise procurement staff and monitor situation full replenishment. ? Verify all discrepancies found during stock checks and recommend “write-on/write-off” for items by raising appropriate vouchers for them. 7. Ensure that claims for loss, damage and short delivery are properly lodged and followed up. 8. Ensure that scrap material and equipment are collected and tendered out for removal and the successful bidder clears them within the allotted time. 9. Provide transport services for delivery of materials to plant areas on a regular interval. 10. Ensure prompt clearance of all incoming cargoes and coordinate all logistical matters associated with them. 11. Manage total performance of warehouse operations and improve it where appropriate. 12. Set up a system that ensures for the safe storage and easy retrieval of spare parts. 13. Ensure that all applicable documentation is well kept, secured and always updated. 14. Motivate, encourage and seek improvement to HSE efforts so that it becomes part of the daily routine for own staffs and contractors. 15. Qualifications: | 1. Educational background: University Degree in Engineering. 2. Work experience: ? Minimum 10 years petrochemical and maintenance experience. ? Previous working experience in a JV environment would be an advantage 3. Language proficiency: English level is CET6 or equivalent. 4. PC skills: Proficient in PC skills. | | | |

CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company (CSPC) Limited has been established as a Chinese Foreign Equity Joint Venture Company on 28 December 2000. It has built and now operates a USD4.1 billion world-scale petrochemicals complex in Daya Bay, Huizhou, Guangdong. It is one of the largest capital investments for a Sino-foreign joint venture project to date in the People’s Republic of China. In 2016 agreement was reached between the partners to expand CSPC more than doubling the production capacity with the addition of a 1.2 Million Ton/Year Ethylene per year creating an additional 4.0 Million Tons/Year of petrochemical products (C2).
The partners are Shell Nanhai B.V., a member of the Royal Dutch Shell, with a 50 per cent stake, and CNOOC Petrochemicals Investment Company Limited (CPIL), also with 50 per cent. CPIL is owned by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) (90%) and Guangdong Guangye Investment Group Company Limited (10%).
The CSPC petrochemicals complex incorporates the world’s most advanced technologies and utilizes modern management systems and international standards in the design, construction and operation of the complex. Its adoption of 13 patents through international bidding ensures it operates on the cutting edge of technology. The majority of its process units are world-scale. Additionally CSPC applies the principles of sustainable development throughout the design, construction and operation of the complex, demonstrating its strong commitment to the community and the environment.
