职位描述
You will be required to:
-Design new product of cable assembly
-Manage projects in Asia from FA to FP
-Provide technical suppoirt for manufacturing partners
-Identify manufacturing processes to meet product design
-Develop test processes to ensure quality
-Work with suppliers to develop fixtures to ensure correct performance and mechanical requirement
-Effectively communicate to cross-functional teams and executive managemen at supplier side
Ensure all technical risks associated with a product are identified and closed or mitigated to enable the quality ramp of a product.
Identify, prioritize and manage key technical risks of a given product.
Ensure process risks are evaluated and perform builds, DOEs, and tests to close risks.
Review build process, documentation and flow to ensure requirements are met for product performance, reliability, quality; and production yields, rates, and process controls.
Qualify initial production lines including documentation, training, maintenance, set-up, process flow, process controls, inspection, and testing.
Identify technical changes needed in order to support operations product manager as needed throughout the life of the product.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in both Design Engineering and Manufacturing in cable industry
- Excellent project management skills, working in a matrix organization. Incumbent should have a good track record of managing a cross-functional team in order to achieve new product objectives inclusive of quality, yield and cost.
- Direct experience managing suppliers' tasks, issues and corrective actions, and escalations
- Proven bottom line project management experience
- Experience working with OEM partners
