Job Purpose:

1. Ensuring safe preparation and execution of maintenance activities in accordance with HSE standards.
2. Audit safe working and environmental practices in the maintenance plant in line with plan and procedures.
3. Train or coordinate trainings to new own staff and contractors with the appropriate methods/ materials/ procedures.
4. Prepare and trigger practical emergency scenario exercises.

Job Dimensions:

1. Maintenance own staff and maintenance contractors (normally about 500 staff in C1)
2. Key relations: MFEM, HSEQ, Project & TA, Operation Team.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Delivers any updates or new rules and regulations of HSE to all maintenance personnel and contractor staff.
2. Coordinates maintenance HSE audits and tracking the status of following up actions by different parties.
3. Contributes to regular MF reporting (e.g. HSE part), ensures proper priority setting of tasks at hand to ensure optimum availability and reliability of maintenance tools & equipment.
4. Prepares budget requests for maintenance HSE-related activities and facilities.
5. Coordinates maintenance areas and contractors to ensure bicycles and vehicles’ safety and integrity.
6. Administrates maintenance near misses and ensuring timely follow-up.
7. Ensures that safety and environmental rounds occur in line with plan and takes corrective action if so required.
8. Organizes auditing the quality of maintenance PTW and advise plant maintenance for improvement.
9. Maintains the test apparatuses and ensures testing & calibration thereof in line with plans and procedures.
10. Maintains safety centre and organize safety training.
11. Ensures emergency response drills are organized properly and in time by responsible contractors and maintenance owners.
12. Actively contributes to awareness of maintenance staff towards HSEQ.
13. Ensures appropriate use of Task Risk Analysis.
14. Responsible for timely, safe and environmentally adequate waste disposal.
15. Organises and register Unsafe Act Observation and training thereof.
16. Coordinates waste stream handling and give guidance and advice to contractors regarding waste handling with input from MFHS.
17. Asks for gas test and ensures results are known and acceptable before authorizing or issuing work permits.
18. Ensures that work conditions are safe and that gas testing is done correctly.

Qualifications:

1. Educational background: Qualification from a university degree, in engineering or related subject.
2. Work experience:
? Minimum 5-10 years maintenance experience in petrochemicals industry.
? Experience with handling safety matters in maintenance or/and projects.
3. Language proficiency: English level is CET4 or equivalent.
4. PC skills: Proficient in PC skills.
