1.Quality Control
- Interfaces with product development, Sales, production and other relevant departments to ensure product quality to meet final customer expectations.
- Manages all the testings regarding in-coming raw materials, finished goods, obsolete materials, etc.
- Creates all kinds of quality reports and provides appropriate suggestions.

2.Management of QC testing instruments
- Suggests and identifies the instruments set up in QC.
- Manages all the QC instruments to ensure they are working on the qualified status.
- Organizes the regular calibration for all the QC instruments, including the scales in the whole plant.
- Keep all the documents regarding testing instruments.

3.ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Leads the establishment / implementation of ISO9001 quality management system.
- Sets up and advises quality objectives to management team.
- Ensures timely communication of ISO standard requirements.
- Organizes ISO9001 internal audits and receives customer or third party’s audits, and follows up the action plans to ensure the compliance with ISO9001.
- Responsible for the development and presentation of periodic Management Reviews for the businesses.
- Develops and analyzes facility internal/external quality metrics and prioritizes them according Division and Facility impact.
- Develops and maintains written processes for the Quality Management System, also coordinates the relevant changes to this System when required for either facility or Division.
- Develops all kinds of procedures, guidelines and instructions for the main activities in Quality Lab.
- Creates reports to Plant Manager and management team.

4.Organizes Quality Related Activities
- Daily follows up on the implementation of procedures, guidelines and instructions and gives feedback to technicians / operators on deviations or irregularities for correction purpose.
- Properly manages the documents regarding quality, such as procedures, records, certificates, official reports, etc.
- Organizes monthly quality meeting and keeps minutes.
- Lead cross-functional product quality investigations to root cause resolution in a timely manner and ensuring meaningful corrective actions (and preventive actions) are implemented with the facility and the division.
- Supports Technical Center and Production on new product introduction or scale-up production and raw materials acquisition.
- Contributes and often leads quality projects relating to product formulations, raw materials, testing procedures, process optimization, new technologies, etc.
- Supplier quality management.

5.Adheres to CASDA and Arkema’s HSE policies and ethics.
- Attends weekly site inspection.
- Follows up the action plans regarding HSE issues.
Conducts close monitoring and frequent trainings to improve team’s safety awareness to achieve Zero reportable incidents.
- Implements 5S in QC Lab.
- Advices HSE suggestions for improvement.
- Reports any HSE findings.

6.Trains and Coaches Technicians / Operators
- Assesses strengths and weaknesses of QC people by means of HR supplied evaluation system and suggests training initiatives to and in consultation with HR Department.
- Ensures plant personnel have all necessary quality training, procedures, and other resources to ensure the quality of the finished products.
- Offers on the job training and coaching to Technicians / Operators; helps and coaches them whenever necessary.
- Trains plant staffs on quality topics.

7.Other assignment
- Support/assists in the implementation of ISO14001 when necessary.
- Others as required by manager.
