JOB TITLE

Senior Business Development Engineer
REPORTING LINE & POSITION WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION (enclose a copy of your organization structure)
N+1 Senior Sales & Business Development Group Manager – Automotive/Transportation – China
N+2 Asia Business Director, Asia Development Director
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Contribute to increase our Auto Market share in Greater China

- Development new application and approval at Car OEMs

- Support technically the customer on their daily request

- Contribute to the automotive strategy
 


ACTIVITIES

Build technical relationship with key Car OEMs and secure approval :
A significant amount of time would be required in building strong technical relationship with Car OEMs through the following activities:
-Follow closely the schedule of various car platforms being developed
-Understand the technical specification of the application
-Influence the material requirement in the test standard
-Working closely with our partner to support the product evaluation
-Supporting the evaluation and problem solving at OEM and partner

Technical support & follow project at existing customers near shanghai area;
- Answer customer daily questions and give technical consultant
- working with internal R&D and factory resources to solving customer issues
- Technical expert of Certain application under the hood

Work closely with internal R&D to make actively contribute to Arkema long term automotive strategy, identify new applications with TPA product and initiate new product with R&D when necessary.

Product ranges: Rilsan, Rilsamid, Rilsan HT, Orgalloy, Kynar, Pebax, Rilsan Clear
Metrics: Approval @ car OEMs, Gain market share, team satisfactory, increase market awareness of TECH products, increase China Automotive market knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor degree & above in polymer & engineering plastic processing.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical or process or development, willing to travel.
- Automotive Industry background is important, business development related position is added advantage.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skill and communication ability within & outside the company
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with challenging goals
- Fluent in Chinese and English.
- Very good interpersonal skills and communication ability in both local china and international environment 举报 分享
