The Company
Our company one of the UK's leading menswear heritage brands. They now have an exciting new vacancy and looking to recruit a Menswear Designer covering jackets, trousers, knitwear and outerwear within their China based team.


 Designer - The Role:
?Responsible for the design and development of denim/casual bottoms, shirt and jacket categories.
?Attend regular design meetings with Customer to discuss new ideas and concepts. 
?Research, select and develop new trends, working with design team to create mood boards for each season.
?Produce design packs with full technical details including trims/wash/construction.
?Liaise with factories/suppliers to ensure the accurate execution of specifications and 'right first time' samples.
?Manage development of appropriate product and sampling within critical path deadlines.
?Liaise with Technical teams to ensure garments are fit for purpose.
?Overseas travel to visit other brands shops and extensive knowledge to buy sample for seasonal collection.
?Support Junior Design and Design Assistant team members.

 Designer - The Candidate:
?Strong proven commercial success working with denim products, able to demonstrate an understanding of fits, finishes and washes.
?Good knowledge of garment construction & quality procedures. 
?CAD/Photoshop/Illustrator skills essential.
?Must have previous experience of working with fashionable product .
?Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, along with proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising own workload.
?Strong verbal and written communicator in English and Chinese. 举报 分享
