Launch your career at Continental

As a global player, Continental operates tire plants all over the world. No matter where you start,one thing is for sure: in just two years you will be working hands-on in real-life manufacturing projects.

During the two year program you will get to:

Know your product

Quality comes from experience so, to gain broad knowledge of tire production, you will start the program with three months handson experience right there on the shop floor. After that, you should be ready for the next big challenge: your very first project in the plant.

Grow your product

After this initial experience, you will join other Manufacturing, as well as Engineering Trainees for a 6-month stay in the Central Operations in Hanover. Participating in a series of stimulating projects you can get upto speed with the tire development process and our global Conti business model: discover which technical trainingsuits you best, develop your soft skills and build your network with visits to major Conti plants, customers and suppliers.

Get to know your customers needs by spending a month in the field with one of our sales organizations.

Early responsibilities

Your profile

Above-average university degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical) or Manufacturing

Eager to work in a multicultural environment

Project experience desired

Relevant internships, ideally abroad

Passion for automotives

Fluent in English and the language of your home plant (country of employment)

High willingness to travel

Open-minded, responsible and self-driven team player
