职位描述：
A key member of the Motor Operations team, In charge of setting up and ensuring a time and cost efficient production plan based on customer orders.
Drive, promote and develop positive communication with Customer and Sales department in order to improve forecast accuracy.
Focus will be on ensuring the timely delivery of products keeping under control the finish good stock at the Customer and FP factory.
The master scheduler is expected to set the production priorities and have a frequent communication with internal and external customers.
 Key Stakeholder Relationships:
? Peers – Purchasing, Procurement
? Direct Reports – None
? Customers – Motor Line Manager, Production TL and Warehouse TL.
? Internal – Sales
? External – Customer supply chain department


? Compiling and delivering production plans
? Ensure stock days are within stock policy, ensure slow moving and obsolescence is within Max parameters
? Chair the sales and operations planning meeting to maintain a good communication among all key stakeholders in the factory.
? Keep a good balance between existing and future customer demand with manufacturing and vendors to ensure completion of customer requirements.
? Analyze inventory levels and product demands to determine reorder levels and safety stocks that will ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs
? Follow up actual production capacity of each product/Line to optimize the production schedule based customer demand.
? Gather information and prepare reports required to facilitate and suggest actions to assure optimal execution of supply chain.
? Assess impact to materials availability and production schedule from customer sales opportunities that may be affecting demand for product over and above the plan.
? Further develop existing forecast and supply programs to improve current days of inventory and cash cycle.
? Champion continuous process improvement within the planning function, keeping up to date on the latest planning tools and techniques through application of innovative ideas and projects.
