Working Week: Please note we have a 5 Day Working Week from Monday to Friday.

We are a Trading & Quality Control company based in Tianhe District, Guangzhou and are looking for a “Senior sourcing” person with at least 2 years of experience in a “sourcing” role, preferably more. This job is only open for people who have “sourcing” experience working for a “sourcing company” as this is essential for this job. Experience with products like computer electronics, gadgets, furniture, will be preferable. We are looking for someone with a Positive, happy & ambitious attitude & looking to hire an “Ambitious” person who would be able to learn fast and manage 1-2 people within a year. We are a company that believes in a “Work Hard” & “Play Hard” attitude and we are looking for people who have the same philosophy.
Please note this is NOT a “sales” position with a commission system. This is a “sourcing” position with a fixed salary.

Essential Requirements:
? Minimum 2 years of “sourcing” experience in a trading company.
? Good level of English is very important. We have an intensive Testing procedure for this, testing both spoken & more importantly written English & understanding.
? Good knowledge of excel.
? Good “internet search” skills are very important in order to effectively find new suppliers & information.
? Desire to work with “Various products” from “Various Industries”. This position currently does not involve specialising in one “specific product” so we are looking for candidates who enjoy the challenge of working with various different products. After you have been with the company for a while, it may lead to you specialising in one of the positions.
? Good negotiation skills are essential for this position, as it would involve negotiating with suppliers.
? Ambition: As a fast growing company, Ideally for this position, we are looking for someone who wants to grow fast and attain is able to manage people under them within 12 months, as opposed to someone who is looking for a “9 to 6” Job. We are looking for someone who is able to work overtime and learn fast and are happy to pay a compensation that would fairly reward such an individual.
? Technology Orientation: We are a company that relies heavily on using “technology” to get things done faster & better. Therefore, we are keen on hiring people who enjoy learning the use of new software & technology and are able to pick-up new software quickly.
Preferable Requirements:
? Knowledge of computer electronics or furniture industry would be extremely useful but is not essential.

Job Responsibilities:
? Finding suppliers for given products and negotiating prices with them.
? Doing company background checks to establish reliability of suppliers (Training will be provided).
? Making research reports about suppliers, by finding information from various sources.
? Liaising with foreign buyers to ensure that their orders are on track.
? Making quotations for products in excel file.
