JOB DUTIES:
- Perform procurement jobs including sourcing Hardware/DIY products for vendors, products, parts, packaging, molding, material and contracting process
- Product development experience is an advantage
- Excellent sourcing ability, able to proactively source new products, aggressive in purchase cost reduction & giving instruction to supplier on the quality conformity to requirement
- Fulfill purchasing tasks including monitoring shipment, re-schedule planning, samples arrangement, coordination for defectives merchandise return.
- Discover vendors with competitive prices, good quality short lead time per corporate S&OP (sourcing and operation procedure) and targets.
- Perform day-to-day BOM (Bill of Materials) cost reduction is compulsory.
- Follow up vendor evaluation report and its improvement before deadline.
- Track products, parts, materials testing and specification documents.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Energetic, honest and responsible person to work in a multi-culture organization.
- A team player devotes to make quick, clear and simple communication.
- A good negotiator on price, delivery and business terms are essential.
- Candidates in building, construction, home and hardline products are preferable.
- Know-how in EU specifications and requirements would be considered.
- Experienced in manufacturing procurement is desirable.
- Business travel in short notice.
- Degree in business, procurement, industrial manufacturing or others.
- Can Speak English a must and mandarin
*Candidate with less experience will consider as Junior Merchandiser
