Basic Qualifications:
o Bachelors Degree in HR or related field or 8 years equivalent experience
o Additional 5 - 7 years progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
o Experience implementing new HR processes and programs;
o Experience with employee relations, training, and staffing in a manufacturing environment;
o HR with a foreign company
o HRIS experience;
o Previous experience using Kingdee or equivalent ERP.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Implements standardized operations programs and policies that drive innovation and employee engagement. Implements programs to improve individual performance for operations.
? Serves as a trusted advisor with internal business groups and stakeholders. Partners with local leadership & other HR business leaders to grow diverse leadership, talent and technical capability in the business.
? Drives local Recruiting efforts and employment branding initiatives to establish Generac as a leader and advocate for the manufacturing industry.
? Responsible for managing workforce headcount in support achieves productivity and efficiencies.
? Provides group and one-on-one coaching with local leadership and managers as well as employees to support leadership development, business decision-making, HR management, problem solving and performance management.
? Communicates business related issues to management.
? Ensures personal and company compliance with all local laws and regulations; ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
? Well-versed in employment policies, procedures, and reporting; develops pertinent metrics and analysis.
? Administers compensation programs, salary planning, and job evaluation.
? Other duties as assigned.
? Provide strategic support to the local management staff in coordination with the Company’s policies, practices and procedures for HR specific issues
? Provide day-to-day support to the facility as needed to provide support for the employees
? Ensure “open door” philosophy is followed for anyone coming into, or calling on the Human Resources department whether they are a customer, employee or visitor
? Implement hiring practices to attract and screen potential employees in compliance with laws, regulations, to ensure adequate staffing at all levels within the organization
? Design programs to help retain employees and track the rate of turn over within the facility
? Provide Human Resources support to all levels of the organization, such as: manufacturing, technology, customer support, shared services, and sales personnel, as needed
? Champion the communication policy with in the facility and division to ensure effective and timely communication occurs
? Administer and advise on all company benefit questions. Filling out forms as necessary, in line with company policy
? Maintain all necessary records, including attendance, vacation, new hires and leave of absences with the personnel files
? Identify and resolve employee issues in accordance with local, contractual and legal requirements
? Develop communications to all staff and personnel on local Human Resources’ policies
? Educate and train people on Company Human Resources’ policies, procedures and labor contract
