Background:

Apollo is the name for Mars supply chain planning program which is a set of global processes and tools that support business growth through effective Demand Planning, Production Planning, Factory Scheduling and Deployment Planning

Apollo delivers value to the business in a number of areas:

Apollo is using JDA Manugistics technology. In Asia Pac, Apollo is live in China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand.


Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Asia Pacific COE Enterprise Planning Manager with strong links to the Global Apollo COE the key deliverables of the role are to:

? Provide high quality service to live sites users in terms of trouble shooting, root cause analysis and solution delivery;
? Involved in system upgrade and new functionality delivery;
? Deliver local and global system enhancements and support business change initiatives. This includes capturing business requirements, design, managing development, testing and supporting business change.
? Work closely with the global COE team and other Mars IS teams to ensure a smooth system performance and minimize disruption to business.
? Providing information technology based solutions to business problems which are in line with business strategies and global templates
? Identify and understand the business and system impacts within the Enterprise Planning landscape
? Develops project plans with detailed tasks required to achieve delivery of the fully tested solution.
? Manage project related activities and work assignments, in developing processes, including process scripts, and test plans.
? Identify, propose, and investigate new areas of improvement or strategic opportunities
? Work as part of a high performing team and contribute to a strong positive team spirit.

Relevant Experience:

The successful candidate will need to have the following experience:
? Good understanding of Unix shell script and Oracle Store Procedure programming
? Good system experience and functional knowledge in supply chain planning, S&OP process, Production Planning, Scheduling, Material Requirements Planning and etc.
? Good understanding of FMCG is preferable
? Any knowledge of JDA Manugistics is preferable.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor degree preferably with major in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent business experience
? Good understanding of ITIL process
? Familiar with Oracle, Unix (essential)
