Internship Position - Project Assistant

M A D E is a U.S. based fashion tech startup that blends innovative 3D scanning technology and high quality craftsmanship to create custom fitting footwear.  We recently launched a successful kickstarter campaign which can be viewed here: http://kck.st/2b9BfN0 (click campaign tab)

This position is for anyone who is excited and curious to know what it feels like to be part of a startup environment.  We are currently in the early stages of setting up our production facility in Lishui, Foshan.  By being part of a small team you will take on numerous responsibilities and work closely with the english speaking founders.  You will play roles in;
* Day-to-day operations
* Production Management
* Sourcing 
* Quality Control
* Interpretation (speaking & written)

Candidate must be a high energy, self-starter, with the ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal direction.    

Required Skills:
* Fluent communication skills in English and Chinese.
* Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
* Resourceful. Goes over, under, and around obstacles to achieve success.
* Mental agility.  Someone who capable of handling unexpected situations.

This role does not require a technical background.  Knowledge in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
