Currently for Avon Asia we have a number of solutions currently deployed in a number of markets to support the various critical business processes including finance, manufacturing, supplier collaboration etc. They consist of Bizflow, SRM, LIMS , MES and navigators etc. The robustness and high availability of the systems will be a key to the day-to-day operation of business in this region.

This position is for the lead of regional solution who will be heading a support team to drive the implementation of regional/local solution including bizflow/SRM/LIMS/MES/navigator etc. and the integration of these solutions with other applications, as well as to provide the ongoing support & maintenance to the systems.

In this role, you are expected to manage a team of support resource including the following activities:
* Demand and capacity planning
* Resource Allocation to ensure the proper support to related projects and ongoing operation of systems
* People management to ensure team is aligned with the support agenda and is able to deliver the commitment to meet client’s requirement on time

In addition, you can be expected to undertake the full end to end project implementation undertaking the following activities :
* GapFit to Core Model processes
* Design of solutions for localization of requirement in different market including preparation of Functional Specifications for Development
* Design and develop various Integrations with other systems including E1 finance/eSIM/QAD/JDA/Bizflow/SRM/MES etc. along with those project’s implementation
* Configuration
* Test Script creation
* Unit and End to End testing
* Training material preparation and delivery – using Train the Trainer and end user concepts
* Data Migration – mapping and testing of data form legacy systems
* Go-live support
When no activity engaged in project assignments, the position holder will be a member of the support team, working on incident resolution and minor enhancement requests :
* Supporting existing system users in resolution of issues as arise day to day
* Adherence to SLA’s
* Small projects – process improvements, upgrades, regulatory changes.
* Keep pace with the development of technology and upgrade solution at proper time to improve the system functionality and supportability

You can expect periodic short duration travelling when working on projects, support tends to be office based with only occasional travel. Where possible Avon leverages video conferencing and web meeting technologies to minimize travel.

It is expected that this role will also act as a subject matter expert / internal consultant and first point of contact for the finance functional area, delivering coaching and consultancy internally within the IT function but also with our business partners from associate to Senior Management Level.

The role also requires technical systems knowledge with the ability to support the administrative function of the ERP investigating why jobs fail, database performance and efficiencies, progress and sequencing of daily batch, security procedures and reviewing of Change Requests for their impact on the system performance and business processes.
